Bio

Welcome to my website!

Born in Trois-Rivières, she spends the majority of her childhood & adolescence years in St-Hyacinthe. Holder of a bachelor degree by cumulative certificates in health studies by University of Montreal, she obtains a 2nd cycle certificate in pain management from University of Sherbrooke while working as a nurse at CISSS Sud Lanaudière.

 

During the 90’s, she gets introduced to watercolor painting by her teacher Jocelyne Dagenais. Close to retirement, Hélène gets back to painting by starting a new learning cycle in oil painting thanks to her new mentor Lorraine Marquis, who teaches in the north region of Lanaudière, north of Montreal.

 

Hélène gets introduced to a forgotten passion and stands out quickly with her creativity and the vibrant colors she impregnates to her favorite models: the animals. Now officially retired, she devotes herself full time to this passion.

I also take part in various painting exhibitions in the Lanaudière region.
My next exhibition will take place on October 18th, 2025 at the ‘’Centre Culturel de St-Jean-de-Matha’’ from 10h00am to 5h00pm:

Tickets are on sale at 5$ each. Each ticket gives you a chance to win a painting. A total of 10 paintings can be won. More than 40 artists will be present, on site, to show their paintings. Please come and meet me there, it would be a pleasure to see you.
